AZUB was founded in 2000 by Aleš Zemánek in Uherský Brod, giving it a brand name at the same time. It is an abbreviation made up of Aleš's initials and the initials of our town. We started out as a cheap East European brand of recumbents, and after years of great effort, we made it among the premium brands. We also got three "Trike of the year" Awards. We produce 16 models of two-wheel recumbents, trikes, recumbent tandem, and recumbent folding bike—all custom-built based on the dreams and needs of the future rider. A wide range of colors, components, and accessories are common for us, just like the innovative technical solutions that brought us the three awards.
