SPEZI lectures

The time-honored locksmith's shop of the LauffenmĂĽhle, is simply called the Old Locksmith 's Shop. Smoke and soot have disappeared, but the smell of metal, oil and fire is still in the walls and floor.

I report first-hand on my everyday experiences with four different recumbent trikes. I show how the models perform when enjoying, traveling, shopping and disposing of waste. I compare advantages and disadvantages and give practical tips for everyday life. The aim is to make it easier for interested people to enter the world of recumbent trikes. The experiences are aimed at both curious and experienced users.

If you cycle to the North Cape at the age of 50 and realize in retrospect that you missed out on Finland and Norway while cranking through Sweden, you have a great alibi to set off again at the age of 60. If you include Poland and the Baltic States in your journey, expose yourself to nature and let technology and specialists play their tricks on you in the meantime, then you have a little to tell after almost four months, a good 9,000 kilometers and countless moments of happiness.

With cargo bike, dog and sleeping camper from Flensburg to Copenhagen

Andreas cycles from Flensburg to Copenhagen with his friend Erich and his dog Lotte on a wooden cargo bike and a bicycle camper. Erich invented the i:woody camper himself and had it built out of wood by a carpenter. The three experience a lot of excitement in Denmark with this vehicle, but above all the island landscape of South Funen, the open country on Lolland-Falster and the impressive chalk cliffs on the island of Mon. The constant proximity to the Baltic Sea, inviting market towns and atmospheric small towns are unique. The destination is one of the most important cities in Northern Europe, the Danish capital Copenhagen.
