Hotels and apartments
If you arrived by train, then you will certainly find a place to stay along the Hochrhein-Bahn. The stations between Singen and Basel are easily and quickly accessible until late in the evening. The SPEZI ticket allows you free travel between Erzingen and Bad Säckingen.
If you travel by car, we recommend, in addition to the hotels and apartments in the region, the vacation destination Schluchsee or an overnight stay in the Swiss cities of Schaffhausen, Brugg or Baden. You can find hotels, apartments or vacation homes for example on:
Tent meadow and campings
SPEZI tent meadow
We offer the option of camping directly in front of the exhibition grounds. Toilets are available on the tent meadow, while the showers are located in the Unterlauchringen community hall, which is only a 5-minute walk away. You can book a place on the tent meadow for 5 to 15 euros per person in advance. Breakfast is served in the Baumwollhalle on Saturday and Sunday from 7.30 am. With a valid Zeltwiesen ticket you are entitled to park your car on the "Zeltwiesen parking lot", which is located 80m in front of the Zeltwiese.
You can stay overnight from Fri. April 28 to May 1.
Campings
There are several campsites in the region, which are also easily accessible by bike. You can find an overview of them here:
SPEZI tent meadow with camper/bus
You now also have the option of staying overnight with your camper/bus directly at the tent meadow. Important: This site is not approved for parking, but is exclusively for overnight stays with/in a vehicle. Toilets are available on the tent meadow, showers are located in the Unterlauchringen community hall, a 5-minute walk away. No electricity is available. You can book a place on the tent meadow for 5 to 15 euros per person in advance.
Breakfast will be served in the Baumwollhalle on Saturday and Sunday from 7.30 am.
You can stay overnight from Fri. April 28 to May 1.
Camper pitch
The camper pitch in Lauchringen will be expanded to provide enough space for SPEZI visitors.
The camper pitch is maintained by the municipality. Payment is made on site. Cost per camper: 8€ per day excl. electricity and water.
The SPEZI can be reached on foot along the beautiful Wutach river in about 20 minutes.
Hall overnight stay in the community hall Unterlauchringen
The Unterlauchringen community hall (five minutes' walk from the exhibition grounds) is making its facilities available. It is a multi-purpose hall that can be used for overnight stays if you bring your own sleeping mat. No beds are available. The sanitary facilities (incl. showers) are available. You can book a place in the hall for 5 to 15 euros in advance. Breakfast is served in the Baumwollhalle on Saturday and Sunday from 7.30 am.
You can stay overnight from Fri. April 26 to Mon. April 29.
