You've come to the right place: Paul Hollants and Daniel Pulvermüller founded the recumbent bike manufacturer HP Velotechnik over 30 years ago with this in mind. Since then, they have created two dozen bicycle models on two and three wheels. The driving idea has remained the same: to build exactly the right vehicle for everyone to experience the most beautiful form of mobility. Today, 60 employees work in the manufactory in the Rhine-Main region. What they produce goes out into the world. HP Velotechnik has won numerous international awards. The design combines high engineering skills with creative and globally unique developments. Most recently, the Hessian think tank was awarded a patent for a fully encapsulated handbike unit. But regardless of whether traditional production by hand or ultra-modern prototype construction with 3D printing - in the end, the customer decides on the characteristics of their bike. The manufactory's modular system is the basis for perfectly individualized vehicles. For example, all six motor types can be combined with several gears. The result: bikes from HP Velotechnik are a unique synthesis of comfort and riding pleasure.

Image 1: Delta tx
This urban chopper combines riding comfort, design and functionality in a unique way. A high level of seating comfort paired with a very good overview, plus the new handlebar design, which makes it extremely easy to get on thanks to the folding joint. Four motor systems open up a wide range of applications. All can be combined with at least one automatic transmission. They make people with little leg strength just as safely mobile as they facilitate "heavy transport" after shopping at the weekly market. The lifestyle chopper offers six pick-up points for up to 50 kg of load - plus a trailer option! The suspended Delta tx weighs from 35 kg and is one of the lightest e-trikes in its class. It can be dismantled into three parts for transportation in 3 minutes - all you need is a 5 mm Allen key.

Image 2: Scorpion fs 26
Scorpion fs 26 - the trike classic and by far the best-selling trike from HP Velotechnik: long wheelbase, clear lines, large smooth-running wheels and elegantly integrated independent suspension ensure a dynamic look that is second to none. The No Squat suspension concept ensures that the full drive energy is transferred to the road without any loss of power.

Image 3: Gekko fx 20
Even if the transport revolution is only progressing gradually, the bicycle is constantly conquering new spaces and allows you to enjoy the most beautiful and healthiest form of mobility almost everywhere. Many people therefore want to have "their" bike with them at all times, be it on the way to work or on vacation. But it has to be able to be small. The Gekko fx 20 with the patented "Dual Flat Fold" folding system can be folded to a handy size in 10 seconds - and all parts stay on the bike!

Image 4: Hands-On-Cycle
With Hands-On-Cycle, a single assembly turns a pedal bike into a hand bike. The fully encapsulated manual drive accommodates gears, chain and cables in a closed housing. This creates space in the cockpit for everything that needs to remain in view. In practice, this means that handcycling has never been so safe and inclusive for people with disabilities. Mounted on the tried-and-tested Scorpion fs 20, Scorpion plus 20, Scorpion plus 26 (pictured) and Gekko fx 26 trikes, the vehicle also develops an extremely high level of grip compared to conventional handbikes.

Image 5: Speedmachine S-Pedelec
HP Velotechnik has designed the Speedmachine as a vehicle that stands for maximum speed even without a motor. In the Speedmachine S-Pedelec, this characteristic is combined with the Z20 RS from Neodrives, the most powerful e-drive in the range. And with an energy consumption that any other S-pedelec can only dream of: In this fast electric recumbent bike, the outstanding aerodynamic properties of this type of bike come into their own.
