HP Velotechnik

0,00 €

You've come to the right place: With this claim, Paul Hollants and Daniel Pulvermüller founded the recumbent bike manufacturer HP Velotechnik over 30 years ago. Since then, two dozen bicycle models on two and three wheels have been created. What has remained is the driving idea: to build all people exactly the vehicle with which they can experience the most beautiful form of mobility. Today, 60 people work in the factory in the Rhine-Main area. What they produce goes out into the world. HP Velotechnik has won numerous international awards. In the design, high engineering skills are combined with creative and globally unique developments. Most recently, the Hessian think tank received a patent for a fully encapsulated handbike unit. But regardless of whether it's traditional hand manufacturing or ultra-modern prototype construction with 3D printing – in the end, the customer decides on the properties of their bicycle. The modular system of the manufactory is the basis for perfectly individualized vehicles. For example, all six engine types can be combined with several gears. The result: HP Velotechnik bikes are a unique synthesis of comfort and driving pleasure.

Image 1: Delta tx
In this urban chopper, riding comfort, design and functionality form a unique combination. High seating comfort paired with a very good overview, plus the new handlebar construction, which enables extremely easy entry thanks to the folding joint. Four motor systems open up a wide range of applications. All can be combined with at least one automatic gearshift. They make people with weak leg muscles just as safely mobile as they make “heavy transport” easier after shopping at the weekly market. Six mounting points for up to 50 kg of load are offered by the lifestyle chopper – plus trailer option! The suspended Delta tx weighs from 35 kg, it is one of the lightest e-trikes in this class. For transport, it is disassembled into three parts in 3 minutes – a size 5 Allen key is sufficient for this.

Image 2: Scorpion fs 26
Scorpion fs 26 – the trike classic and by far the best-selling tricycle from HP Velotechnik: long wheelbase, clear lines, large, smooth-running wheels and elegantly integrated independent suspension ensure a dynamic appearance that is second to none. The No Squat suspension concept ensures that the full drive energy is transferred to the road without loss of power.

Image 3: Gekko fx 20
Even if the transport revolution is only progressing gradually: the bicycle is conquering new spaces and allows you to enjoy the most beautiful and healthiest form of mobility almost everywhere. Many therefore want to have “their” bike with them at all times, whether on the way to work or on vacation. To do this, it must be able to be small. The Gekko fx 20 with the patented “Dual Flat Fold” folding system can be folded to a handy size in 10 seconds – and all parts remain on the bike!

Image 4: Hands-On-Cycle
With Hands-On-Cycle, a foot bike becomes a hand bike with a single assembly. The fully encapsulated hand drive houses gears, chain and cables in a closed housing. This creates space in the cockpit for everything that should remain in view. In practice, this means: hand biking has never been so safe and inclusive for people with disabilities. Mounted on the proven trikes Scorpion fs 20, Scorpion plus 20, Scorpion plus 26 (pictured) and Gekko fx 26, the vehicle also develops extremely high grip compared to conventional hand bikes.

Image 5: Speedmachine S-Pedelec
HP Velotechnik has designed the Speedmachine as a vehicle that already stands for maximum speed even without a motor. In the Speedmachine S-Pedelec, this characteristic is combined with the Z20 RS from Neodrives, the most powerful e-drive in the range. And with energy consumption that every other S-Pedelec can only dream of: In this fast electric recumbent bike, the outstanding aerodynamic properties of this type of bike come into their own.
