HPV Germany e.V.
We are committed to environmentally friendly mobility, which means a high quality of life for everyone. This mobility will preferably be provided by muscle-powered vehicles. They are quiet and produce no harmful emissions. They are comfortable, energy-efficient, high-quality and durable.
Outlook for some of our events in 2024 - we're keeping up the momentum!
Image 1: Race Our first race is on May 10 and 11 at the Wielerbaan in Sneek (NL). Here riders can try out what it's like to ride alone or in a team for 6, 12 or even 24 hours at a time without any pressure. Those who enjoy racing will be in good hands in Rütenbrock at the beginning of August. The race weekend with a family atmosphere, racing, barbecuing and drinking, camping in the garden and talking into the night. The high-speed race in Aldenhoven follows at the beginning of September for the third time in a row. You can ride without braking on this track, as it is wide and has two banked curves. The track is ideal for velomobiles and recumbents. Everyone is welcome with their vehicle! You can also ride without braking at the 3rd consecutive HPBoat meeting in northern Germany in September. The meeting will take place in Jabel, Bremen or Hoya.
Image 2: Exhibition, trade fair and congress An exhibition entitled "Testing recumbent bikes and what else the world needs!" was held in Oldenburg back in March. This will be followed at the end of April by the SPEZI in Lauchringen with the HPV information stand and the film presentation on Saturday at 4 p.m.: A film about bicycle records - record-breakingly new! The World Cycling Summit, Velo-city Ghent, will take place in June and we will be represented there.
Image 3: Meetings The 17th Tandem Meeting in May, as well as the 18th Tandem Meeting in September, the 12th Rally to the Center of Lower Saxony in June and the 4th Great Oldenburg Recumbent Meeting 2024 in August offer good opportunities to meet up. There are no concrete plans yet for an HPV meeting in the fall.
